Chengqi (English translation: Tear Container)Location: On the face, the point is directly below the pupil of the eye, between the eyeball and the infraorbital ridge. Classification: Crossing point of the Stomach, Yang Qiao and Ren Meridians Indications:
Functions: Dispels Wind, benefits the eyes, clears Heat, stop lacrimation. Needling:
Push the eyeball upward slightly with the left thumb and puncture
perpendicularly and slowly .5 - 1.5 cun along the infraorbital ridge.

It is not
advisable to manipulate the needle with large amplitude, to avoid injuring the
blood vessels resulting in hematoma.
