Abbreviations you'll see a lot on this page:
NCCAOM is the National
Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
NCCA stands for the National Commission for the
Certification of Acupuncturists. This is the old term for what we
now call the NCCAOM.
PEPLS stands for Practical Examination of Point
Locations Skills.
CNT stands for Clean Needle Technique.
NACSCAOM is The National Accreditation Commission
for Schools and Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. This
is their old name. Their new name is the ACAOM or Accreditation
Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
D.O. stands for the Doctor of Osteopathy.
