Acne Rosacea/Strep Infection |

By Chantal Farabee Acne RosaceaMy next experience was when I came to the United States. My acupuncturist is Joy Tso-Huo Smedley based in Everett, Washington State. I had for some time had a bad case of Acne Rosacea, my opinion is that this was somehow related to the Norplants that I had had. Anyway, I became extremely depressed after having seen the dermatologist and been given Metro-gel and being told that it was hereditary in British people, seemed strange at the time, as my mother is German and my father is from Mauritius. So consequently I called Joy up and we started a programme which I believe took about 7 weeks. During this period I began to see my skin appear healthier. I no longer have to hide behind tons of makeup and can now once again face the world. Strep InfectionOne last thing I wish to add is that I was struck down with a bad case of Strep, in less than 3 days I was well, no antibiotics for 10 days, no Thrush, Acupuncture was once again my savior. I can only say that all my experiences have been positive ones and I for one would like to see more use being made of alternative forms of healing work in conjunction with western medicine. Imagine the power that can have. It is a shame that there are still far too many "closed" minded folk who perhaps are afraid of stepping outside of what my seem a normal boundary. |
