By Jim Curran About a year or so ago I kept getting recurring ear infections. I would go to the clinic and they would drain it, give me about $75.00 in medications. It would dry up a little but my hearing in this one ear was getting particularly worse. After about the third trip to the doctor (which I never go to unless I feel it is serious) a friend of mine who was an Acupuncturist suggested that I try Acupuncture. He said it is one the most effective treatments against ear infections. The first couple of treatments didn't do much. On the fourth treatment there was a great burning sensation in the ear. It felt like it was on fire. I heard a little pop and from that day forward (I had a couple of more treatments) I have never got the ear infection back and my hearing almost returned to normal. ACUPUNCTURE! It works! |
